Jade Garrido

Jade Garrido currently serves as the Head of People at Shakepay since August 2024 and is also the Toronto Chapter Co-Lead for The Culture Collective since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of People and Culture and Director of People and Culture at ContactMonkey from July 2022 to August 2024, and as People and Culture Leader at Rose Rocket from December 2017 to July 2022. Jade began a career in human resources as a Human Resources Generalist and Copywriting Specialist at Yellow Pages/Pages Jaunes – Canada from February 2016 to January 2018, following work as a Marketing Associate at Chemroy Canada Inc from April 2013 to March 2016 and a Communications Intern at RIC Centre in late 2015. Jade holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Professional Writing and Communications from the University of Toronto and a CHRP in Human Resources Management and Services from Ryerson University, along with multiple WSET qualifications in wine education.
