Jie Li is currently a tenure-track associate professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since December 2024. Prior to this role, Jie Li served as a board member for the EDESIA Plants, Food and Health PhD programme from January 2020 to December 2024 and worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the John Innes Centre from June 2018 to December 2024. Jie Li also gained experience as a research intern at HarvestPlus in the summer of 2024. The academic journey includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Sciences from the John Innes Centre between 2013 and 2018 and a bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Plant Breeding from China Agricultural University from 2008 to 2013.
