James Braithwaite

James Braithwaite is a seasoned engineering and design executive with extensive experience in leading innovation teams within prominent companies. Currently serving as Chief Innovation Officer at SharkNinja since January 2012, James spearheads global engineering and design initiatives, overseeing product development from concept to market launch. Previously, as EVP Global Engineering and Design, James played a pivotal role in launching several key products, including the Shark Robot AI VacMop. Earlier career roles include leadership positions at Dyson, where James led new product development for vacuum cleaners and other innovative products, and Ericsson, where James established joint ventures and developed mobile handset solutions. James holds a Master's degree in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and a DIC in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
