Julie Lewis

Julie Lewis, PhD, REM, CSP, CHMM, serves as the Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety at Sharps Medical Waste Services since November 2023, where responsibilities include leading the design and execution of environmental safety and regulatory compliance strategies. Previously, Julie held multiple roles at Trilogy MedWaste, including Chief People & Compliance Officer and VP of Regulatory Affairs & Organizational Development, contributing to human capital and health, safety, and environmental functions. Experience includes positions at Schlumberger as HR People Analytics Manager, and at Cameron, a Schlumberger company, as Sr. Manager of HSE, where regulatory compliance and environmental issues were critical. Earlier roles at Waste Management and Environmental Management & Consulting involved corporate compliance management and environmental auditing. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Organizational Development & Change from the University of Texas at Tyler, an MBA from Texas Woman's University, an MS in Environmental & Chemical Sciences from McNeese State University, and a BS in Microbiology and Chemistry from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
