Waqas Mehmood

Waqas Mehmood is a dedicated and highly proactive biomedical engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Biomedical Engineer at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre since March 2008, Waqas has demonstrated a strong commitment to teamwork and professional excellence. Previously held the position of Assistant Manager in the Biomedical Engineering Department at The Indus Hospital from July 2017 to June 2018. Waqas possesses a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Riphah International University, along with additional qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Additionally, Waqas has earned associate degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, showcasing a comprehensive educational background.
