Keith Hurst

Keith Hurst is an experienced academic leader currently serving as Associate Dean (Research, Innovation & Knowledge Exchange) at Sheffield Hallam University since March 2023. Previously, Hurst held various leadership roles at Teesside University, including Associate Dean positions focused on Learning and Teaching, Marketing and Recruitment, and Business. Hurst has contributed to the governance of educational institutions as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Tees Valley Collaborative Trust and as a committee member for various organizations. With a strong academic background anchored by a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds, Hurst has been involved in academia since the late 1990s, encompassing teaching, research, and strategic development initiatives in higher education.
