Micah W.

Micah W. is a Senior Lecturer in Building Surveying at Sheffield Hallam University, specializing in building surveying, fire engineering, building regulations and planning, management, construction, services, and building pathology since September 2007. Prior to this role, Micah served as a Senior Project Manager at Butler & Young Approved Inspectors from January 2005 to August 2007, and held the position of Area Building Control Surveyor / Fire Officer at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council from January 2003 to January 2005. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Building Control Officer at Erewash Borough Council from December 2000 to January 2003. Academic qualifications include a Pg Cert Ed in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Sheffield Hallam University, an Executive MBA and a BSc in Fire Safety Engineering from Leeds Beckett University, a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and an HNC in Architecture from Sheffield Hallam University, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Surveying and Levelling and an ONC in Quantity Surveying from Shirecliffe Technical College.
