Charles Davis

Charles Davis is an experienced energy market professional with a strong background in trading and analysis. Currently serving as an Energy Market Analyst at Shell since August 2024, Charles previously worked as an Energy Trader at CleanCo Queensland, where responsibilities included managing a diverse electricity generation portfolio and overseeing gas sales and purchases. Prior experience includes roles at Snowy Hydro Limited as an Energy Trader/Market Analyst, focusing on generation optimization and market strategy. Earlier experiences as a Photovoltaics Engineer/ Energy Data Analyst intern at Smart Commercial Solar and as a Power Systems Engineer intern at Ecoult, along with tutoring in Physics and Mathematics, further supplement Charles's expertise. Charles holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Renewable Energy) with Honours from UNSW.
