Colin Spence

Colin Spence is an experienced professional in naval architecture and project engineering, currently serving as the Walk to Work Lead at Shell since April 2023. As the Director of Nautia Engineering Pty Ltd since November 2019, Colin has led the development and marketing of aftermarket switch panels for 4WD vehicles. Previously, Colin held roles such as Senior Naval Architect at Floating Solutions Consulting, where responsibilities included hull integrity management for FPSO clients, and Senior Project Engineer at DOF Subsea, focusing on decommissioning projects. With significant experience across various companies, including Santos Ltd, TechnipFMC, and London Offshore Consultants, Colin boasts a solid background in managing and executing complex offshore operations, heavy lift transport, and marine warranty surveys. Colin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture from the Australian Maritime College, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
