Dr. Suganya Balakumar

Dr. Suganya Balakumar is a seasoned data scientist currently working with Shell in the Digital Process Twin - Commercial Data Science division since June 2022. Prior to this role, Suganya served as a visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where the focus was on teaching economics and mathematics courses from May to December 2022. Experience as an assistant professor at OP Jindal Global University from August 2020 to May 2022 included teaching microeconomics, macroeconomics, and mathematics, alongside mentoring students and fulfilling administrative responsibilities. Earlier roles include a lecturer position at LatentView Analytics, where newsletters for Microsoft's product lines were developed, and an internship at ATREE, contributing to research on contingent valuation and conducting surveys on avian populations.
