Kosta Pirgousis

Kosta Pirgousis is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the WTG Team Lead at Shell since February 2023. Previously, Kosta held the position of WTG Technical Delivery Team Lead at ScottishPower from July 2017 to February 2023, overseeing a global team of 12 engineers and managing offshore wind projects in diverse markets including the USA, Europe, and Asia. Kosta's earlier roles include Lead WTG Engineer for the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm, Project Manager at UK Power Solutions Ltd, and Senior Electrical/Project Engineer at Origin Energy, where responsibilities encompassed significant projects such as the $250M Darling Downs solar farm and the $1B Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, focusing on grid connection processes and compliance.
