Technicians

The Technicians team at Shepeard Community Blood Center is responsible for the collection, processing, and preparation of blood and blood products. Prep Technicians ensure the initial screening and preparation of donors, Component Prep Technicians separate and prepare blood components for distribution, and Certified Phlebotomy and Apheresis Technicians perform blood draws and apheresis procedures to collect specific blood components.
