Ilana Cohen

Ilana Cohen, MD, is an Attending Psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt since August 2022, specializing in psychiatric care for treatment-resistant mood and anxiety disorders for both residential and outpatient settings. Previously, Ilana completed a Psychiatry Residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine from July 2018 to July 2022, focusing on general and subspecialty management along with research in behavioral health care delivery and technology. In addition, Ilana served as a Design Lab Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from August to December 2021, providing mentorship and collaborating with industry advisors on healthcare innovation. Earlier experience includes a consultant role at the Baltimore City Health Department from June 2020 to March 2021, where strategic planning for population-level change was a key focus. Ilana holds a Bachelor's degree in American Government and Politics from Oberlin College and an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
