Austin Howard

Austin Howard is an experienced aerospace and avionics professional currently serving as V-BAT Technical Lead at Shield AI since August 2021. Prior to this role, Austin held various positions at Martin UAV from May 2015 to August 2021, including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Engineer, and Lead Avionics Engineer. Austin also worked as Lead Avionics Engineer at MLB Company from August 2010 to May 2015, and gained early experience as an Engineer at Neerim Corporation and as an Aerospace Engineer at ELORET. Austin holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho, obtained from 2002 to 2008.
