Karl Simmons

Karl Simmons is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the biotechnology and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Professional Services at Shimento, Inc., Karl also co-founded and held the positions of Co-Founder and Chairman at Javelin Bioscience and Co-Founder and Board Member at the Silicon Valley Blockchain Society. Previously, Karl was the Chief Executive Officer of GridSpeak Corporation and the Chief Operating Officer of Viasyn, Inc. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in BioEngineering from Cornell University, completed between 1981 and 1985.
