John Hayes

John Hayes currently serves as Consulting Director at Shining Star Consulting LLC since August 2015, following a tenure as Controller at the Asian Art Museum from December 2014 to August 2015. Prior to that, John held the Controller position at Reading Partners from August 2011 to May 2014, where responsibilities included ensuring the integrity of the national financial infrastructure and aligning financial outcomes with strategic plans. Earlier experience includes roles as Accounting and Finance Manager at ZeroDivide (June 2004 - June 2010), Director of Finance and Administration at the Institute for Community Health Outreach (January 2003 - December 2003), and Controller at the STOP AIDS Project (June 1998 - June 2002). John Hayes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Management Studies with a concentration in Economics from Antioch College and furthered education at the University of Illinois Chicago.
