Kirsi Tikka

Kirsi Tikka is an Advisor at ShipIn. Kirsi was previously a Senior Executive at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) from January 2001 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were a Professor of Naval Architecture at Webb Institute from January 1996 to December 2001. Kirsi began their career as a Naval Architect and Senior Analyst at Chevron Shipping from January 1989 to December 1995.

Kirsi Tikka has a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Kirsi also has an MS in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Kirsi has completed an Executive Training Program in Management Development from Harvard University. Kirsi also has an MS in Solid Mechanics and Naval Architecture from Aalto University. Finally, they have completed an Executive Education program in Strategic Storytelling from Columbia University in the City of New York.
