Eric Dowell

Eric Dowell is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development, API design, and DevOps. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Shipt, Eric has held various technical roles, including Lead Software Engineer/DevOps at DirtGeo LLC and Full Stack Developer at Q3 Contracting Inc., focusing on application maintenance and bug fixes. Previously, Eric worked as a Senior Software Engineer at RBC Wealth Management, where expertise in REST APIs and integration with legacy systems was demonstrated. Eric’s earlier experience includes a series of positions at Star Tribune, where contributions ranged from web development to upgrading server-side applications. Eric holds a Bachelor's Degree in Web Design & Interactive Media from The Art Institute International Minnesota and a B.S. in Scientific and Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
