Derek Cheng

Derek Cheng currently serves as the Head of FMCG Cluster & Seller Project Management at Shopee, overseeing approximately 200 staff across four teams. Responsibilities include managing cross-border FMCG operations and local seller management across Southeast Asia and LATAM markets. Previously, Derek held the position of TikTok Strategy Director, where strategies for international growth and project management were developed. Prior experiences include significant roles at Boston Consulting Group, Amazon, ZhenFund Venture Capital, and TSMC, contributing to ventures in digital transformation, market entry strategies, and product management. Derek holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from National Taiwan University.
