Umesh Prasad Singh

Umesh Prasad Singh currently serves as DGM-ESG at Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited since January 2022, focusing on the establishment of systems and processes related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. Prior to this role, Umesh worked as a Senior Consultant at Factstream, where responsibilities included creating a database based on GRI Taxonomy from October 2021 to January 2022. Umesh's extensive experience at Tata Steel Ltd, spanning from May 1989 to September 2021, involved serving as Senior Manager in Corporate Sustainability, where Umesh implemented best sustainability practices across the organization and was involved in driving sustainability initiatives within multi-locational operations. Umesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and has completed foundational education at Balbhadra High School.
