Akesh Nissanka

Akesh Nissanka is an experienced process and port operation superintendent currently working at Siam City Cement since April 2016. In this role, Akesh successfully implements process optimization strategies to enhance production efficiency and collaborates with the QA department to uphold high product quality standards. Prior experience includes serving as a senior production executive at North Sails, where production targets were consistently met by ensuring product quality and minimizing raw material waste. Akesh also held a position as assistant production engineer at DSI Tyres, focusing on achieving production targets and managing inventory. Currently pursuing a postgraduate diploma in manufacturing management at the University of Colombo, Akesh also holds a national diploma in technology with a specialization in mechanical engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
