Charlene Pretorius

Charlene Pretorius is an accomplished professional in capital project delivery and management, currently serving as the VP of Capital Project Delivery at Sibelco Group since June 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing major capital projects and ensuring governance and compliance. Prior to this, Charlene held the position of Project Services Manager - Africa at Glencore from February 2020 to June 2022 and served as a Senior Expert in Capital Productivity and Infrastructure at McKinsey & Company from February 2015 to February 2020. Charlene's extensive experience at Sasol spanned from January 1994 to May 2014, with roles ranging from Plant Engineer to General Manager of the Capital Portfolio Office. Charlene holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1990 and 1993.
