Somil Joshi is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Sub Project Manager for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) at Siemens Energy since May 2024, Somil previously worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Hitachi Energy, focusing on electromagnetic and dielectric analyses related to transformer designs. At CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, Somil held multiple roles, including Senior Executive in Transformer Technology and Power Transformer Testing, where responsibilities included performing complex electrical calculations and conducting extensive testing on power transformers and shunt reactors. Somil holds a Master of Engineering in Power Systems from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College.
