Steven Slater

Steven Slater is an experienced Commissioning Engineer at Siemens Energy, specializing in commissioning HVDC converter stations and onshore substations across various projects in the UK and Ireland since April 2020. Previously, Steven spent over 20 years at Siemens in various engineering roles, including Principal Protection and Control Engineer, where responsibilities included protection system design and verification for offshore windfarms, and Project Engineer focusing on FACTS systems. Steven holds a BEng(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a National Diploma in Engineering from Tameside College of Technology.
