Antonio Segarra

Antonio Segarra is an experienced leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the CTO for Siemens Gamesa's Solar Business since April 2016. Prior to this role, Antonio held the position of CEO at 9REN España from October 2014 to January 2016, successfully transforming the company into a major regional service provider for wind and solar farm operations, increasing managed assets from 200 MW to 6 GW. Antonio also served as CEO of Renergy Consultants, providing consultancy for renewable energy power plants, and as COO of Silken SA, where the development of a new business unit for renewable energy project management, engineering, construction, and maintenance was undertaken. Earlier experience includes the role of Regional COO at Gamesa Eolica, overseeing the construction and operation of wind farms in eastern Spain. Antonio’s academic credentials include an EMBA from Esade and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, supplemented by various programs in leadership and strategic thinking.
