Vijaya Krishna Chary Sharab

Vijaya Krishna Chary Sharab has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Grid Expert at Siemens Gamesa since November 2018, Vijaya provides grid support for the Service Business unit. Previous roles at Siemens Gamesa included Technical Project Manager for grid connections on next-generation offshore platforms and Senior Grid Expert, focusing on electrical grid connection design and project planning. Prior experience at Siemens spanned from October 2010 to February 2017, where Vijaya held positions including Advanced Engineer and Electrical Engineer, offering technical support for offshore wind farm projects and conducting grid code compliance studies. Starting a career at Enercon India Limited, Vijaya was responsible for power system studies and project reporting for wind farms across India. An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Vijaya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
