Jay Munro

Jay Munro has over 30 years of experience in automation and engineering, currently serving as a SCADA solution architect and automation specialist at Siemens since June 2005, where successful initiatives include converting equipment manufacturers to Siemens automation solutions. Prior roles include leading an automation group at Javan Engineering from June 2004 to June 2005, where responsibilities encompassed client acquisition and group growth, and working at Avanceon from 1995 to 2004, progressing from controls engineer to group business manager overseeing a team of 12 engineers. Munro's early career includes positions at Applied Controls, Inc. from 1993 to 1995 as an application engineer. Jay Munro holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automation from Penn State University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
