Margaret Kran-Annexstein

Margaret Kran-Annexstein is an experienced environmental advocate currently serving as the Director of the Colorado Chapter for Sierra Club since July 2023. Previously, Margaret held the position of Senior Campaigns Advisor at Oxfam America and Campaign Director at Mighty Earth, where responsibilities included leading campaigns against corporate abuses in natural rubber and advocating for sustainable ocean and forest policies. Additional roles include Director at Waxman Strategies, National Training Director with The Outreach Team, and Assistant Organizing Director and Lead Organizer at Green Corps. Margaret has a strong background in managing and training staff, developing strategic advocacy campaigns, and conducting significant fundraising efforts. Educationally, Margaret holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from American University.
