Chance Mims

Chance Mims is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. As the Founder and CEO of Academy Securities since 2009, Mims has led a full-service institutional broker-dealer and investment bank. In 2021, Mims founded Academy Asset Management, which specializes in managing fixed-income portfolios and ETFs for institutional clients, including the Academy Veteran Impact ETF (NYSE: VETZ). Mims also serves as a Board Member for SIFMA, the leading trade association for broker-dealers and investment banks, and is a member of YPO since 2017. Additionally, Mims established Academy Properties, a boutique real estate firm based in San Diego, in 2004. Mims’ military background includes service as a Naval Officer in the US Navy from 1997 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
