Radek Urbanek

Radek Urbanek is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and project management, currently serving as an Application Engineer for East Europe and Application Advisor and Trainer for SIGA Cover AG since May 2018. With a strong commitment to creating zero energy loss buildings, Radek contributes to the development and manufacturing of high-performance, non-toxic building materials. Previous roles include a Technician Specialist at Holzforschung Austria and various positions at Kili, s.r.o., including Wholesale Manager, Product Manager, and Project Manager. Further experience spans engineering and project management at Hartl Haus, research roles at FVA Freiburg and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Institute, and international work experience in Canada. Academically, Radek holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Forestry and Land Use Management from The University of Freiburg and a Dipl. Ing. in Wood Technology and Wood Construction from Mendel University Brno, complemented by a background in Civil Engineering.
