Jim Stoneham

Jim Stoneham serves as a Partner at SignalFire, having joined in February 2022, where the firm aims to address significant challenges faced by entrepreneurs through a tech-enabled approach. Prior to this, Jim held advisory roles and senior executive positions across multiple organizations, including as CMO at Stripe and New Relic, where efforts focused on using data and automation to enhance growth and customer satisfaction. As CEO and Co-founder of Opsmatic, Jim was instrumental in transforming IT operations, leading to its acquisition by New Relic. Jim also held CEO roles at Payvment and played a pivotal role in Yahoo!’s Communities business, driving significant audience growth. With a background in product development at Kodak, including leadership of both the Digital Imaging and a startup within the company, Jim has extensive experience in strategic business transformations and innovations within technology and consumer products. Jim earned a BFA in Photo Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and attended the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
