Chandra Wadhwa

Mr. Chandra Wadhwa is a Cost Accountant by profession & holds an enriching experience of 39 Years. He is a master of many degrees in the field of Legal & Finance. Before completing his Company Secretary education from Institute of Company Secretaries of India, he did is M.Com & LLB from Delhi University. He also did a course on Insolvency Professional from IBBI.

Prior to joining Signature Global, he actively managed the key roles in both Govt. & Private Sector of India. He acted as the Chairman of a Technical Committee, Member of Quality Review Board, Central Council Member, Member of National Task Force on Cost Accounting Record Rules (CARR), Member of Cost Accounting Standard Board, Chairman of Cost Accounting Standard Board & President at The Institute of Cost Accountants which is a Professional Accountancy Body in India.

During his work tenure at the Ministries of Govt. of India, he was a member of National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standards (NACAS), a member of Expert Group to review Cost Accounting Record Rules, Cost Audit Report Rules and Cost Accounting Standards, and a member of Indo-UL Task Force on Corporate Governance, constituted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He also acted as a Member of Indo-UK Accountancy Task Force, Constituted by Ministry of Commerce & Chairman of working group to examine the requirement and make suggestions for an Institutional Framework for Corporate Valuations, constituted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

He was also a member of WTO and Other Trade Agreements, CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce; Director, Keshav Sehkari Bank Ltd., SMS Global Securities Ltd, DSEFinancial Services Ltd. & Wadhwa Financial Services (P) Ltd.

He has presented more than 150 papers on various topics at Regional, National & International Seminars including PHD Chamber of Commerce, ASSOCHAM, CII. He is Sr. Partner in M/s Chandra Wadhwa & Co.
