Jan Erik Garshol

Jan Erik Garshol is a Senior Advisor at Sikt since January 2022, with extensive experience in the field of information technology and higher education. Prior positions include Senior Advisor at Unit from January 2018 to January 2022 and at BIBSYS from September 2002 to December 2017, where Jan Erik contributed as both a Senior Advisor and Product Owner for several key systems and projects, such as the Research Repository and New Library System. Previously, Jan Erik served as a ScrumMaster, Project Manager, and Software Developer, and has a degree in IT (Cand.Scient) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Jan Erik also developed a Learning Management System during a tenure at Internet Learning Systems from 1998 to 2001.
