Maik Duwensee

Maik Duwensee, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Manufacturing Equipment Engineering at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc., having previously held significant engineering leadership positions at notable companies, including Cruise, Uber, Tesla, and Apple. With a strong background in reliability engineering, product development, and data analytics, Maik has led teams in various sectors, particularly in autonomous vehicle technology, noise vibration harshness, and sensor reliability. Maik's notable achievements include minimizing false-positive drive unit failures at Tesla and playing a key role in Project Titan at Apple. Maik holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, along with two Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego and Universität Rostock.
