Mikito Nagata

Mikito Nagata is an experienced professional in the battery engineering field, currently serving as a Staff Battery Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since 2019. Prior to this role, Mikito held the position of Director at Zeptor Corporation from 2016 to July 2019, and served as Manager of Cell Engineering at Tesla from 2014 to 2016. Mikito's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Quallion from 1999 to 2014, where various roles of Director, Manager, and Battery Engineer were undertaken. Earlier in the career, Mikito was a Battery Engineer at Japan Storage Battery Co. Ltd. (GS Yuasa) from 1995 to 1999. Academically, Mikito holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Materials Science from Kobe University.
