Farid Veliyev

Farid Veliyev is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Deputy Head of the Procurement Department and previously as Head of the Procurement Division at Silk Way West Airlines since May 2021. Prior to this role, Veliyev worked as an Aviation Procurement Specialist from June 2017 to September 2020, where responsibilities included managing flight resource provision, overseeing cargo transportation, conducting financial analyses, and executing tenders for cost reduction. Veliyev's career also includes experience as a Tour Manager at Baku Travel & Tourism Company and positions in hospitality and finance. Veliyev holds an MBA from IU International University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Regional Studies from Baku Eurasian University.
