Sergei Klimov

Sergei Klimov has a strong background in software and data development. Sergei started their career in 2005 as a Firmware Engineer at Horizon Semiconductors, where they contributed to digital hardware design. Sergei then worked as a Software Engineer at CopperGate Communications, focusing on debugging existing features and writing new features for the encryption keys exchange code base.

In 2013, Sergei co-founded Topsis, a startup focused on building a web portal for pension agents and their clients. As the CTO, they implemented the portal frontend in JavaScript and React. Sergei then moved on to work as a Software Engineer at Mybitat (AGT), where they built the main product's web dashboard using JavaScript and ReactJS.

Sergei then joined AGT International as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to Java and Scala backend development for a mobile app built for New York Fashion Week. Sergei later joined SimilarWeb as a Big Data Developer, specializing in web analytics and web traffic. In this role, they worked on developing and optimizing big data pipelines using Apache Spark and scikit-learn, and reduced training time for a TensorFlow project through code conversion and porting.
