Mei Lan Fang serves as an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University since July 2023, following a tenure as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the University of Dundee from March 2019 to November 2023. With extensive experience in research, Mei Lan's previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Dundee and Research Associate at the Gerontology Research Centre, where a focus on housing for older, cultural minority groups was emphasized. Expertise encompasses qualitative data analysis, project management, community engagement, and partnership building with stakeholders. Mei Lan holds a Ph.D. in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Heriot-Watt University, alongside a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, both from Simon Fraser University.
