Megan Gendell

Megan Gendell is a seasoned production editor at Simon & Schuster since May 2022, overseeing the editing and production of children's books for various imprints. With a strong freelance background since 2007, Megan specializes in writing, editing, copyediting, and fact-checking for notable publishing houses such as HarperCollins and Penguin Random House. Prior experience includes roles as an associate editor and assistant editor at Scholastic and an internship at Penguin Group USA. In addition to editorial work, Megan has extensive experience in circus arts, having taught and coached acrobatics and trapeze at various institutions from 2007 to 2020.
