Evan Molinelli

Evan Molinelli is a Senior Software Engineer at Simons Foundation since May 2021 and has been a BioInformatics Programmer at BioDigital, Inc. since January 2014, where responsibilities include developing CAISIS, an open-source cancer patient data management system, as well as managing 3D data for real-time rendering environments. Prior experience includes serving as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, applying probabilistic optimization algorithms to protein interaction networks, and conducting research at Weill Cornell Medical College as a PhD student in Computational Biology and Medicine. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology from Cornell University and a B.A. in Physics and Philosophy from the College of William and Mary.
