Nikos Trikoupis

Systems Architect at Simons Foundation

Nikos Trikoupis is a seasoned Systems Architect with extensive experience in high-performance computing and infrastructure design. Currently at the Simons Foundation since October 2016, Trikoupis is responsible for the processing infrastructure at the Flatiron Institute, addressing complex scientific challenges in fields such as astrophysics, biology, and chemistry. Prior experience includes a prominent role at the City University of New York, where Trikoupis led the development and maintenance of high-performance computing systems, significantly expanding the computing capacity. Previous positions include senior IT engineering at MIG Bank, network management at CERN, and technical support at MK Software, complemented by a solid academic background in physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an eMBA from EPFL and HEC Lausanne.
