Brenton Mumford

Brenton Mumford is a skilled Mining Engineer with extensive experience in both surface and underground mining operations. Currently employed at J.R. Simplot Company since January 2022, Brenton is responsible for managing governmental inspections, designing mine utility projects, and overseeing environmental compliance for reclamation efforts. Prior experience includes roles at Mach Mine and Mach Mining LLC, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory compliance, project planning, and ventilation management. Brenton's foundational experience was gained through internships at Arch Coal, Inc. and USG, where proficiency in AutoCad and various mining equipment was developed. Brenton holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Utah, as well as an Associate of Science degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley University.
