Ali Taylor

Ali Taylor is currently a Senior Consultant at Simpson Associates. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Administrator at Sheffield Hallam University from January 2019 to December 2019. There, they assisted in setting up a new database containing all of the universities help and information articles for students and staff to access. They also produced documentation for internal and external use which had to be of a good standard. Their previous position was as Waitstaff at Halifax Hall Hotel from January 2017 to December 2018, where they worked in a hotel, a busy, fast paced environment alongside completing masters. Shifts and their responsibilities could vary greatly, from routine service to larger events such as weddings. They worked efficiently as part of team to keeps things running smoothly while being approachable to customers. Prior to that, they worked as a Transport Coordinator at Co-op from January 2016 to December 2016.

Ali Taylor has a Master of Science in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield. Ali is also certified in Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Data Engineering with Azure, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI, Developing SQL Data Models, Implementing a Data Warehouse using SQL, and Querying Data with Transact-SQL.
