Sheila Sterling

Sheila Sterling is an experienced library and information services professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Library Director at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP since July 2014, Sheila has previously held senior roles including Sr. Manager Firmwide Research and Information Resources at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe from May 2007 to July 2014, and Research Operations Manager at Greenberg Traurig from 2004 to 2007. In earlier positions, Sheila was VP of Library Services at Converium from 1993 to 2004 and VP, Head Librarian at Guy Carpenter from 1988 to 1993. Sheila holds a Master of Science in Library Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from New York University.
