Jon Hall

Jon Hall has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors, currently serving as Manager of Packet Core IME at Optus since 2003, where responsibilities include managing the packet core IME team while remaining hands-on with technical tasks. Previously, Jon held the position of Principal Technical Specialist at NCR from June 2001 to September 2002, achieving significant milestones such as upgrading and standardizing configurations for Asia Pacific routers and switches and managing a shift to an MPLS-based WAN service. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Support Analyst at Pink Roccade from 1999 to 2001. Jon Hall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from Macquarie University, earned between 1989 and 1993, with prior education completed at Killara High School.
