Colin Shawinimash

Colin Shawinimash is an experienced professional in emergency management and workforce development, currently serving as the Anishinaabewaadiziwin Manager and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority since April 2023. Previously, Colin held roles including Emergency Management Coordinator at Nishnawbe Aski Nation, Business Development Manager at Superior Strategies, and A/General Manager at Agoke Development Corporation. With a background in employment services and outdoor education, Colin has also served as Capital Project Manager and Public Works Manager for Eabametoong First Nation, and has a comprehensive educational background from Lakehead University, the University of Ottawa, and Confederation College.
