Dene Pettinger

Dene Pettinger is an experienced professional in crane operations and management, currently serving as an Appointed Person at Sir Robert McAlpine since December 2024. Previously, Dene held various roles at Select Plant Hire, including Training Academy Manager and Tower Cranes Operations Manager, from February 2017 to December 2024. Dene also spent over a decade at Laing O'Rourke, working as an Appointed Person for lifting operations, overseeing significant projects such as the Westgate Oxford New build. Earlier experience includes roles as Crane Supervisor at HETCo/Laing O'Rourke and as a Tower Crane Operator/Erector with Falcon Crane Hire, MPS, Taylor Woodrow Plant, and Kier from January 1989 to 2011.
