Rob Vermeijlen

Rob Vermeijlen has extensive experience in risk expertise within environmental permitting, currently serving as the Officer Risk Expertise at Sitech Services BV since January 2005. Responsibilities include conducting risk studies such as Quantitative Risk Assessments for external safety, effect modeling for various emergency scenarios, and assessments related to environmental law focusing on safety regulations. Prior to this role, Rob worked at DSM from September 1987 to January 2005, holding positions as a SHE officer and R&D process technologist, where responsibilities included providing guidance to factory personnel and conducting process technological research aimed at optimizing chemical products and production methods. Rob holds an HVK degree in Safety Management from PHOV and an engineering degree in Chemical Technology with a specialization in Environmental Technology from HTS Eindhoven.
