Andrew is an advocate for responsive and equitable urban environments and is most inspired by culture and how their shared spaces are used and shaped by people. Trained as an Architect and having worked as a Research Associate in academia, he approaches design from a researcher’s perspective, exploring urban space through community engagement, mapping, data, and on-the ground analysis to develop informed strategies and designs.
Andrew has worked across North America on projects that include public space design, masterplanning, small-scale urban interventions, funded research, community-based design, workshops, teaching, and independent explorations of built space. Andrew holds a Master of Architecture degree from Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan and has a background in Design, Business, and International Studies.
