Krista Takkinen

Krista Takkinen is a communications professional with a diverse background in public affairs and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as a Specialist in Communications and Public Affairs at Sitra since August 2022, Krista focuses on the Democracy and Participation theme. Prior experience includes a role as a Communications Specialist at Lääketeollisuus ry / Pharma Industry Finland, where responsibilities encompassed brand awareness, public relations, and marketing campaigns. Krista also worked as a Communications Coordinator at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, managing communications for both internal and external stakeholders. An academic background includes a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finnish language from the University of Oulu, supplemented by multiple internships in communications.
